Press Release

Date: July 15, 2022
Location: Carson City, NV

Today, the Sisolak for Governor campaign announced it will report raising over $1.72 million in the second quarter of 2022 with nearly $10.8 million cash on hand. This news follows the Sisolak campaign airing the first ad of the cycle and reserving $6 million in additional ad reservations beginning in the fall.

Indicating the strong role abortion protections will play in this election, donations stemming from email, text and social media increased by 250% following the Supreme Court's Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization decision. To date, the Sisolak campaign has received more than 24,000 donations from every Nevada county, all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Among the campaign's more than 12,000 donors are educators, students, small business owners, health care workers, law enforcement officers, union members, housekeepers and retirees to name a few.

"Governor Sisolak is the only candidate in this race fighting and delivering for Nevada families -- which is why our campaign has seen record donations and grassroots support from across the state," said Sisolak for Governor Campaign Manager Sam Barrett. "With our economic progress, voting rights, reproductive freedom and so much more at stake this year, Nevadans are coalescing behind Governor Sisolak's vision to move Nevada forward over a corrupt, failed sheriff who's too busy campaigning to address the rising crime on his watch."

To date, Governor Sisolak's reelection has been endorsed by the Professional Fire Fighters of Nevada, NexGen PAC, Nevada State AFL-CIO, United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local 1977, IATSE Local 720, Iron Workers Local 118, 416, 433, IBEW 357, SEIU Local 1107, Culinary Union 226, Somos Votantes, We Defend the Vote PAC, Giffords PAC, the Clark County Black Caucus, the NRDC Action Fund, Nevada Conservation League, the Jewish Democratic Council of America, Silver State Equality, the Human Rights Campaign PAC, the Sierra Club Toiyabe Chapter, Nevada NOW PAC, NARAL Pro-Choice Nevada, and Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada.
