Today, Ranking Member Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO) issued the following statement on the release of the latest GDP Data indicating the United States' economy is in a recession.
"As Biden and his Democrat allies in Congress busy themselves with changing the definition of a recession, Americans continue to shoulder the burden of troublesome economic conditions. Two consecutive quarters of economic decline is a recession. This is reality. Washington Democrats will try to spin these numbers in circles, but the hard facts cannot be redefined to meet a political agenda," said Ranking Member Luetkemeyer.
