Ranking Member Davis Applauds the Commitment to America

Statement

Committee on House Administration Ranking Member Rodney Davis (R-Ill.) today issued the following statement in support of Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy and the House Republican Conference's Commitment to America.

"Today, House Republicans unveiled a policy blueprint to create a strong economy, safe nation, secure our freedoms, and make government more accountable to the American People. While I won't be around to help get some of these policies across the finish line, I am extremely proud of Leader McCarthy and my colleagues for crafting this platform and know the American People will be in good hands when Republicans are in the Majority.

"One of my priorities as Ranking Member on House Administration has long been been to help restore faith in this institution and our elections. That's why I'm excited the Commitment to America will repeal proxy voting to ensure Members have to actually show up for work, and also focuses on election integrity by supporting policies that empower States with tools like voter ID, accurate voter rolls, and increased observer access."
