Mullin Introduces Return Requirement for Federal Loans Used on Illegal Activities

Press Release

Date: June 23, 2022
Location: Washington, DC

Today, Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-02) introduced a bill to require the full return of amounts loaned under the Paycheck Protection Program of the Small Business Administration if the loan was used to conduct illegal activities. This includes Hunter Biden's laptop lady who received over $20,000 worth of federal dollars under the guise of being an "Independent Artist, Writer, or Performer."

"There are billions of dollars' worth of PPP loan abuse that must be investigated," Mullin said. "So, let's start with those we already know engaged in illegal activities, activities such as the illicit services performed by Hunter Biden's paid sexual partners. These taxpayer dollars were meant for small businesses struggling under the weight of forced government COVID closures -- not for funding illegal pastimes of the First Family. The Bidens have a history of taking advantage of their political relationships for personal gain and this is no different. This legislation will ensure these taxpayer dollars are returned to the federal government immediately and the corruption cannot continue."
