Today, Congressman Jim Baird (IN-04) released the following statement opposing the continuing resolution:

"For over a year, Hoosier families have watched prices for household essentials skyrocket, forcing many to spend hundreds more each month to keep up with record-breaking inflation as their wages remain stagnant," said Rep. Baird. "While Congressional Democrats continue to rubber stamp the same spending sprees that are fueling inflation and putting a strain on Hoosier families, I will not support massive spending packages that bankroll radical agendas in stark contrast with Hoosier values, especially when they do nothing to address or even acknowledge this worsening economic crisis. I promised my constituents I would be a good steward of their taxpayer dollars, and I have no intention of breaking that promise."
