$100 Million in Cuts is Just A

I am pleased the President is making the effort to save millions by cutting unnecessary and duplicative spending from the budget. However, as the President stated himself, this $100 million dollar cut to the budget is just a "drop in the bucket." For instance, if the Internal Revenue Service simply stopped sending out letters to inform households that their rebate checks are on the way, and just sent the checks without advance notice, we could save $42 million on the postage and printing of those pre-rebate letters.
