Doug Hoffman said: "I am proud to have the PBA of the New York State Troopers endorse me today. As the father of a New York State Trooper who was wounded in the line of duty, I know, first hand, the service this organization undertakes on behalf of its members. But, more importantly, I understand the commitment that the State Troopers make to our State and our community on a daily basis. For many in the 23rd Congressional District the State Police are the first responders when you dial 911. Their dedication, professionalism and bravery are legendary. As Congressman I will work with the State Police and all law enforcement to make sure they have the all the tools that are needed to protect our citizens."
