Why am I running for State Board of Education?

I would be privileged to serve on the Colorado State Board of Education because I believe that we have a promise to keep to the next generation. This promise is to provide educational opportunities that will prepare the next generation for a lifetime of learning and service.

With parental choice and involvement, accountability, teacher empowerment and instructional excellence as a focus, we can accomplish this.

We must preserve what is best about public education and reform those aspects that do not serve our students and families well.
