Growing Jobs in a Strong, Healthy Economy

Every American deserves a chance at the American dream. Today that promise of opportunity for all in a strong, healthy economy is threatened by a federal government that has become too large and takes too much from us. Throughout our Hudson Valley small business owners, employers, and community leaders have told me that they need relief from taxes and regulations that make it hard to grow and create jobs.

That's why I'm working to rein in federal spending, eliminate unnecessary and counterproductive regulations, reduce the high cost of energy, and repair our aging infrastructure. Our federal government must provide a climate that will foster business growth and hiring, and then respect the good judgment of our citizens to enjoy the rewards of hard work and investment in a better future.
