Issue Position: Guiding Principles

Issue Position

During my doctoral studies in leadership management, the one model that stood out as a driving principle for me is "Servant Leadership". Besides being the underlying foundational philosophy of democracy, this is one of my core beliefs: that your elected officials are there to serve.

I believe in principles of fairness and always strive to consider all sides and perspectives of an issue. I tend to be a data-driven decision maker less influenced by emotional controversy.

My track record would show that I'm a fiscal conservative and a proponent that all government should balance its budget and live within its means just like we have to as individuals.
