Rothfus Votes to Provide Certainty for Students and Families

Washington, D.C. -- Congressman Keith Rothfus released the following statement after voting for the Senate-amended version of H.R. 1911, the Bipartisan Student Loan Certainty Act.
"I am glad that the Senate finally adopted a common-sense, market-based solution that is nearly identical to what the House passed in May," said Rothfus. "Today's House vote prevents the student loan interest rate from doubling and provides certainty for students and families."
H.R. 1911 passed in the House by a bipartisan 392-31 vote.
