Over the past four years Virginia has taken us backwards on women's rights. More than 50 years after the development of "the pill" women in Virginia still get to hear about how Richomdn wants to restrict access to it. From invasive ultra-sounds to costly healthcare regulations to constraints on access to contraceptives Richmond needs to stay out of a woman's personal decisions. Women should have the right to decide about their own health care and reproductive options and be fully covered by adequate and accessible health insurance. I will work to reduce the legislature's stigmatizing of women in their life choices. I support the goal of "equal pay for equal work" as well as equality in promotion and other vocational recognitions.
