Issue Position

Congressman Gregg Harper believes that one of the federal government's core duties defined in the Constitution is to provide for the common defense. Peace through strength is obtained through a robust national defense policy. It is imperative that Congress provides the equipment and resources necessary to ensure the men and women in harm's way have the tools to succeed. We must also keep terrorists out of America by preventing the government from importing Guantanamo Bay detainees and fully funding missile defense.
