Issue Position: Common Sense over Common Core

Issue Position

* Protect Our Constitutional Right to Govern Education. In order to
improve education, Georgia must control education. Be wary of accepting
any policy or legislation that is approved or sponsored by the federal
government. We can no longer afford to pay the educational and fiscal price
for bad Washington decision making.
* Protect Independence and Autonomy of our home and private school
institutions.
* Involve Georgians. Ensure that parents, educators, and community
members play a role in the review of state standards and resources.
