No family should have to sacrifice their entire net worth because of a catastrophic health event. On the other hand, people should not have to purchase health care insurance with coverage that is unnecessary or unneeded and only drives up the cost of the policy. I am a proponent of an expanded role for AHCCCS into a hybrid product and available to those in true need. I am not a supporter of a single-payer health care system, or the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act.
