Since entering the legislature in 2010, Mike has consistently shown his commitment to bringing Alabama a smaller state government that is more accountable to the people. In 2011, he sponsored legislation that set a minimum budget for the Alabama Ethics Commission, protecting the agency from political retaliation if they don't yield to political motives.
