NRLC Applauds Dr. Dan for Pro-life Record

Today, Benishek for Congress announced that Dr. Dan Benishek has been endorsed by the National Right to Life (NRLC) with a 100% pro-life voting record. The National Right to Life was founded in 1968 and is currently the largest pro-life organization. NRLC is committed to protecting the unborn through education and legislation.

"It is an honor to have the support of the National Right to Life. As a husband, father of five, and grandfather, I firmly believe that life begins at conception. All human life is sacred and I remain committed to ensuring that pro-life policies are enacted in Washington," said Dr. Benishek, a lifelong resident of Northern Michigan.

David Osteen, the National Right to Life Executive Director, stated, "all voters who are concerned with the right to life and with the protection of the most vulnerable members of the human family should vote to return Dr. Dan to Congress, so that he can continue to work to advance vital pro-life public policies."

During his time in Congress, Dr. Benishek has worked to promote a culture of life, which among other things, upholds and actively supports pro-life policies. He has also supported a number of measures that support pro-life policies including ending taxpayer funded abortions and repealing President Obama's health care law.
