Lindsey Graham Cuts and Runs -- Cowers from Debating Opponents

Today, Lindsey Graham officially declined to participate in an October 13th debate sponsored by SCETV featuring candidates for the US Senate seat he currently holds. Graham, who is polling under 50% in every recent poll, chose to retreat from the challenge rather than answer tough questions with his opponents.

Graham's Democratic challenger, State Senator Brad Hutto made the following statement:

"Lindsey gets breathless with excitement when it comes to sending our young men and women to war but is terrified at the thought of defending his own record in a public debate. The seat does not belong to Lindsey Graham, it belongs to the people. The people deserve to hear from him.

How can Lindsey continue to advocate for American boots on the ground all over the Middle East and beyond when he himself doesn't have the courage to participate in an hour long debate with me and Thomas Ravenel?"
