Rahall Announces Funding for Marshall Health Research

U.S. Rep. Nick Rahall (D-W.Va.) Friday announced $383,000 in Federal health research funding for Marshall University for musculoskeletal disease research.

"Marshall's medical scientists are doing some amazing things in their laboratories that are putting our State on the cutting edge of health research. I am proud to advocate the Federal funding that is leading to scientific breakthroughs at our State's universities that can benefit the American people and mankind worldwide," said Rahall.

The funding was awarded by the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases. It will be used to research therapies that could assist in treating childhood growth impediments.
