Southerland Remembers Victims of 9/11, Benghazi Terrorist Attacks

U.S. Rep. Steve Southerland, II issued the following statement today regarding the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks:

"On this fateful day, we pause to remember the thousands of innocent Americans who tragically lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. We also mourn the loss of the four brave Americans who gave their lives two years ago today while defending our consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

"Despite these evil acts, American resolve has never wavered in the fight to preserve our freedoms. As we reflect, let us also pray for the brave men and women in uniform who are sacrificing so much to keep us safe today."
