Rep. Jenkins Votes No Again on TPA

Statement

Date: June 18, 2015
Issues: Trade

U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) issued the following statement today after voting no on Trade Promotion Authority, which the U.S House of Representatives also voted on last week:

"I have carefully read the legislation, listened to the thoughts and concerns of West Virginians, and continue to believe Trade Promotion Authority is not right for the Third Congressional District. I will continue to vote for policies that will help create jobs and provide opportunities for southern West Virginia families, and Trade Promotion Authority does not meet that standard."
