Vote to pass a bill that specifies marriage to mean the legally recognized union of two consenting persons in a committed relationship beginning on the 60th day following enactment.

Highlights:

-Specifies that members of the clergy of any religion, or any other person, authorized to preform marriage shall not be required to preform marriages in violation of the free exercise of religion guaranteed by the Constitution (Sec. 5). -Specifies that all partners in previously existing civil unions shall be deemed married and may apply for a marriage license (Sec. 7). -Specifies that partners in a civil union who apply for a marriage license shall not be charged a fee for a marriage license (Sec. 9).
