Vote to pass a bill that appropriates $20 million annually, to be adjusted for inflation, from tobacco settlement funds deposited into the Health Care Trust Fund to The Partnership for a Healthy Mississippi, a non-profit corporation responsible for comprehensive statewide tobacco education and prevention through advertising, campaigns, youth programs, etc. The bill also expands the membership of the Health Care Trust Fund board of directors and makes them responsible for reviewing the Partnership for a Healthy Mississippi.
