Prohibits an individual from performing “equine tripping” in rodeos (Sec. 2).
Specifies that an individual performs “equine tripping” if the individual intentionally causes a horse to trip or fall through the use of ropes or lassos on the legs of the horse for the purposes of a rodeo, contest, exhibition, entertainment or sport, or as a practice for a rodeo, contest, exhibition, entertainment or sport (Sec. 2).
Classifies “equine tripping” as a Class B misdemeanor (Sec. 2).
Specifies that individuals are authorized to conduct or participate in rodeos in the state (Sec. 1).
