Title: Amends Foreign Child Support Order

Vote to pass a bill that amends foreign child support orders.
Highlights:
- Requires a court to apply The Interstate Family Support Act to a child support proceeding involving the following (Sec. 4):
- A foreign support order;
- A foreign tribunal; or
- An obligee, obligor, or child residing in a foreign country.
- Specifies that the provisions of this bill regarding foreign child support orders apply only to support proceedings under the Convention on the International Recovery of Child Support and Other Forms of Family Maintenance (Secs. 4 & 48).
- Authorizes an individual or support enforcement agency to register a foreign child-support order not under the convention if they are seeking to modify and enforce (Sec. 46).
- Exempts a court from registering, recognizing or enforcing a foreign child-support order if it is incompatible with state law (Sec. 56).
