Title: Establishes Regulations for Marijuana Dispensaries

Vote to pass a bill that establishes regulations for marijuana growers and dispensaries, effective immediately.

Highlights:

  • Authorizes a registered marijuana producer to offer marijuana for medical and nonmedical purposes, except in cases of public health and safety (Sec. 7).
  • Authorizes a medical marijuana dispensary to sell the following limited marijuana retail products to an individual who is at least 21 years old (Sec. 21):
    • Cannabinoid edibles;
    • Non-psychoactive medical cannabinoid applied to the skin or hair; and
    • Prefilled receptacles of cannabinoid extracts.
  • Specifies that there is no tax on the retail sale of marijuana to a registry identification cardholder (Sec. 17).
