Vote to concur with Assembly amendments and pass a bill that recognizes nonbinary as an official legal gender, effective September 1, 2018.
Establishes legal recognition of 3 genders on state-issued identification documents: female, male, and nonbinary (Sec. 1).
Authorizes an individual to file a petition with their county’s superior court to change their gender identification on state-issued identification documents (Sec. 1).
