Title: Authorizes Employment of Convicted Felons in Insurance Businesses
Vote to pass a bill that authorizes the employment of convicted felons in the insurance industry.
Authorizes insurance providers to employ convicted felons with the written consent of the commissioner of insurance (Sec. 1).
Specifies that an insurance provider who employs a convicted felon without the written consent of the commissioner of insurance may have their insurance producer license placed on probation, suspended, or revoked, and may incur a fine of up to $500 (Sec. 1).
