Title: Amends the Date of Implementation for Successful Ballot Initiatives
Vote to pass a bill that amends the effective date of laws enacted by statewide initiatives, and appeal provisions relating to conflicting initiatives.
Establishes that a proposed law passed on a ballot initiative by the people of Utah in a general election shall take effect 60 days after the last day of the legislative session immediately following the election unless otherwise specified by a previously passed law (Sec. 2).
Specifies that the 60 day enactment waiting period shall not apply to any bill that establishes a tax increase or decrease (Sec. 2).
