Highlights:

• Requires public schools to adopt a policy that allows homeschooled or private school students to enroll in individual courses (Sec. 1).

• Authorizes public schools to limit the enrollment of homeschooled or private school students if their enrollment would create a financial loss for the school (Sec. 1). 

• Authorizes a public school to seek a waiver from the requirements of this section (Sec. 2).

• Authorizes public schools to provide transportation for homeschooled or private school students (Sec. 3).

• Specifies that a homeschooled or private school student is not considered truant due to unexcused absences from the public course or courses in which they are enrolled, but their enrollment may be dropped (Sec. 3).
