Vote to pass with amendment a bill that requires listing a sexual assault hotline and reproductive health care telephone numbers on the backs of student identification cards.

Highlights:

• Requires public schools serving pupils in any grades including and between grades 7 and 12, beginning July 1, 2020, to print on either side of pupil identification cards the following (Sec. 3):

• The National Sexual Assault Hotline; and

• The telephone number of a local resource that provides comprehensive and medically accurate sexual and reproductive health care information.

• Requires private schools serving pupils in any grades including and between grades 7 and 12, beginning July 1, 2020, to print on either side of pupil identification cards the National Sexual Assault Hotline (Sec. 3).

• Requires both public and private institutions of higher education, beginning July 1, 2020, to print on either side of pupil identification cards (Sec. 3):

• The National Sexual Assault Hotline; or

• A local sexual assault hotline that provides confidential support services for students who have experienced sexual violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, or stalking, and that is available 24 hours a day.
