Title: Prohibits the Use of Telemedicine for Medication Abortions
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits using telemedicine for abortion-inducing drugs.
Prohibits a physician from providing an abortion-inducing drug to a pregnant person unless the physician is physically present at the time and location where the initial dose of the drug is consumed (Sec. 2919.124).
Specifies that whoever violates this act will be guilty of an unlawful performance of a drug-induced abortion and a felony of the fourth degree (Sec. 2919.124).
Specifies that if the offender previously has been convicted of or pleaded guilty to a violation of this act, they will be guilty of a felony of the third degree (Sec. 2919.124).
