Vote to pass a bill appropriating funds to the Executive Office of Education to contain, treat, and prevent the COVID-19 coronavirus disease.

Highlights:

• Appropriates $95,000 to the Executive Office of Education for the surveillance, treatment, containment, or prevention of the 2019 novel COVID-19 coronavirus disease (Sec. 9).

• Requires the commissioner report to the legislature on all expenditures made and all activities taken by the department to identify, treat, contain, or prevent the virus, and make any additional recommendations about policies, statutory changes, or funding levels needed to achieve these goals, no later than June 1, 2020 (Sec. 9).
