Vote to pass a bill that requires transgender student athletes play against those of their biological sex.

Highlights:

• Requires that participation in school sports be determined by a student’s original birth certificate (Sec. 1a).

• Specifies that if the student’s birth certificate doesn’t seem to be original, the student must provide other evidence of their assigned sex at birth (Sec. 1a).

• Specifies further that the student’s parent must pay for any costs associated with retrieving evidence referenced above (Sec. 1a).

• Establishes that the above restrictions will go into effect during the 2021-2022 school year (Sec. 2).
