• Requires manufacturers use the least toxic alternative when replacing polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in products (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits individuals from selling, offering for sale, or distributing cookware products that does not follow the aforementioned provision (Sec. 1).

• Defines “cookware” as durable houseware items that are used in homes and restaurants to prepare, dispense, store, or serve food, foodstuff, or beverages, including, but not limited to (Sec. 1):

• Pots, pans or skillets;
