  • Establishes that by January 1st, 2025, locally grown produce will constitute 10% of total produce purchased by the department (Sec. 1).

  • Specifies that locally grown produce will increase by 8% every 5 years until 2050 when local produce constitutes a minimum of 50% of produce purchased by the department (Sec. 1).
