Title: Prohibits COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements in State Public Schools and Universities
Vote to concur with senate amendments and pass a bill that prohibits COVID-19 vaccination requirements in public schools and universities.
Defines “public school” as a city, local, exempted village, or joint vocational school district, community school, STEM school, or college-preparatory boarding school (Sec. 1).
Prohibits a public school or institution of higher education from doing either of the following, including (Sec. 1):
Requiring an individual receive a vaccine that the US food and drug administration has not granted full approval; and
Discriminating against an individual who has not received a vaccine.
Specifies that the aforementioned provisions do not apply to hospitals or other health care facilities that are owned or operated by, or affiliated with a state institution of higher education (Sec. 1).
