Vote to pass a bill that amends the shared work benefits time period from 26 strait weeks a time period equal to 26 weeks of benefits.

Highlights:

• Requires an eligible claimant to be paid benefits for any week equal to his or her benefit rate multiplied by the percentage of reduction of his or her wages resulting from reduced hours of work, but only if such percentage is no less than 20 percent. The weekly benefit amount will be rounded off to the nearest dollar (Sec. 1-1).

• Prohibits a claimant from being paid benefits in excess of 26 times the amount of regular compensation (including dependents' allowances) payable to such individuals for a week of total unemployment during a benefit year (Sec. 1-1).
