Title: Establishes Comprehensive Vaccine Mandate Exemptions for Employees and Students

Vote to pass a bill that establishes comprehensive vaccine mandate exemptions for employees and students.

Highlights:

 

  • Defines "employer" as any person who has one or more employees. "Employer" includes an agent of an employer, the state or any agency or instrumentality of the state, and any municipal corporation, county, township, school district, or other political subdivision or any agency or instrumentality thereof (Sec. 3792.07-1).

  • Classifies "school" as either or both of the following (Sec. 3792.07-5):

    • A chartered nonpublic school; or

    • A public school.

  • Prohibits a school, private college, or state institution of higher education from mandating a student to receive any of the following utilizing messenger ribonucleic acid, deoxyribonucleic acid, or any other genetic vaccine technology and for which the United States food and drug administration has not issued a biologics license or otherwise granted full approval (Sec. 1.B-1):

    • A vaccine;

    • A drug;

    • A biological product; or

    • A form of genetic immunotherapy.

  • Prohibits an employer from mandating an employee to receive any of the following utilizing messenger ribonucleic acid, deoxyribonucleic acid, or any other genetic vaccine technology and for which the United States food and drug administration has not issued a biologics license or otherwise granted full approval (Sec. 3792.07.B-1):

    • A vaccine;

    • A drug;

    • A biological product; or

    • A form of genetic immunotherapy.
