Vote to pass a bill that amends mobile home tenant regulations
Specifies that “In an action by or against the tenant, evidence of a complaint within six months one year prior to the alleged act of retaliation creates a presumption that the landlord’s conduct was in retaliation” (Page 2).
Expands definition of “rent” to include base rent, utilities, late fees, etc (Page 2).
Increases days’ notice required for rental agreement cancellation, from 60 to 90 days (Page 2).
