Vote to pass a bill that establishes legal protections for abortion providers from out of state laws such as extradition, arrest, and other legal proceedings.

Highlights:

• Prohibits extradition of abortion providers to other states, unless other state “shall allege in writing that the accused was present in the demanding state at the time of the commission of the alleged crime, and that thereafter he, she or they fled from that state” (Sec. 1)

• Prohibits arrests for lawful abortions (Sec. 2)

• Prohibits cooperation with out-of-state investigations regarding lawful in-state abortions (Sec. 3)
