Vote to pass a bill that appropriates funds for the 2022-23 fiscal year.
Appropriates $77 million from the general fund to the Department of Commerce and Division of Workforce Services Trust Fund for personal services and operating expenses (Sec. 2).
Appropriates $5 billion from the general fund to the Department of Commerce for state unemployment benefit payments (Sec. 3).
Appropriates $10 million from the general fund to the Department of Commerce for the the Arkansas Works Act (Sec. 5).
Appropriates $40 million from the general fund to the Department of Commerce for the Divison of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (Sec. 6).
Appropraites $3 million from the general fund for trust fund interest and unemployment insurance costs related to the Department of Commerce (Sec. 7).
Appropriates $3.1 million from the general fund for the Department of Commerce for the Reed Act funds (Sec. 8).
Appropriates $39.9 million from the general fund for the Department of Commerce for costs related to temporary assistance for needy families block grant paying and new hire registries (Sec. 8).
