Vote to pass a bill that authorizes sports betting in the Commonwealth.
Expands definition of “illegal gaming” to include certain fantasy contests (Page 2).
Establishes restrictions on such contests (Page 3).
Establishes Sports Wagering Act (Page 4).
Authorizes Gaming Commission to regulate sports wagering (Page 10).
Prohibits certain wagering practices (e.g. purchase of biometric data, deceptive or otherwise noncompliant advertising) (Page 11).
Requires safeguards against gambling addiction; publicization of problem gambling hotline (Page 11).
Requires fingerprints, etc. from license applicants (Page 14).
Authorizes Commission to investigate operator license applicants (Page 16).
Requires $200,000 nonrefundable processing fee from such applicants (Page 18).
