Title: Mental Health Matters Act
Vote to pass a bill that requires certain federal actions to increase access to mental and behavioral health care.
Requires certain federal actions to increase access to mental and behavioral health care, including, but not limited to (Title I-VII, Sec. 101-704 ):
Creating various grants to increase the number of school-based mental health service providers;
Establishing requirements for institutions of higher education concerning students with disabilities;
Prohibiting arbitration and discretionary clauses in employer-sponsored benefit plans under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974; and
Establishing an occupational research program on mental health.
