Vote to concur with house passage and pass a bill that authorizes able bodied individuals who deny job offers to qualify for medicaid.
Establishes that no able-bodied adult may knowingly fail to accept an offer of legal, paid employment, an increase in wages, or an increase in paid work hours to maintain eligibility for Medical Assistance benefits (Sec. 1).
Specifies that an able-bodied adult who violates the previous point is ineligible for Medical Assistance benefits for 6 months following the date the Department of Health discovers the failure (Sec. 1).
Specifies that if implementation of this act does not comply with the the federal Families First Coronavirus Response Act, the Department of Health Services shall implement this act (Sec. 2).
