Vote to amend and pass a bill that prohibits "gender transition procedures" for children.

Highlights:

• Defines “child” as an individual under 18 years of age (Sec. 1).

• Defines “gender transition procedures” as any medical or surgical treatment including but not limited to (Sec. 1):

• Phusician’s services;

• Inpatient and outpatient hospital services; or

• Prescribed drugs related to gender transition that seek to alter or remove physical or anatomical characterists or features that are typical for their biological sex or instill or create physiological or anatomical characterists that resemble a sex different from their bilogical sex.

• Specifies that gender transition procedures to not include behavioral health care services or mental health counseling, medications to treat depression or anxiety, or medications prescribed for delayed puberty (Sec. 1).

• Establishes that providing any aforementioned gender transition procedures to a child shall be grounnds for immediate revocation of a physicians’s license (Sec. 1).
