Title: Expands Various Voting Rights

Vote to pass a bill that expands various voting rights including, automatic voter registration at state motor vehicle department offices, voting restoration for felons, and making election day a school holiday.

Highlights:

  • Authorizes qualified electors to become registered to vote by automatic voter registration at any motor vehicle division of the taxation and revenue department, or any other state or local public office designated by the secretary of state (Sec. 2).

  • Establishes state voter lists and prohibits the unlawful selling, loaning, providing access to, or otherwise surrendering of voter data, mailing labels, or special voter lists to third parties (Sec. 4).
