Title: Prohibits Gender Affirming Care for Minors
Vote to concur with house amendments and pass a bill that prohibits gender affirming care for minors.
Prohibits the following gender affirming care for minors under 18 years of age, including (Sec. 2):
Sex reassignment surgeries, or any surgical procedures that are performed for the purpose of altering primary or secondary sexual characteristics; or
Hormone replacement therapies.
Exempts medical conditions where sex reassignment is deemed medically necessary (Sec. 3).
Specifies that physicians found to have violated these aforementioned provisions to be held administratively accountable to the Georgia Composite Medical Board for said violation but shall not be held civilly liable for damages (Sec. 3).
