Vote to pass a bill that prohibits instruction on gender identity and sexual orientation in grades K-6.

Highlights:

• Prohibits any program, curriculum, test, survey, questionnaire, promotion, or instruction on gender identity and sexual orientation in all public and private school districts and charter schools in grades K-6 (Sec. 4).

• Requires all school boards provide age appropriate and research-based instruction in human growth and development, including instruction regarding (Sec. 4):

• Human sexuality;

• Self-esteem;

• Stress management;

• Interpersonal relationships;

• Domestic abuse;

• HPV and availability of a vaccine to prevent HPV; and

• Acquired immune deficiency syndrome.
