Vote to pass a bill that prohibits minors from being at adult events.

Highlights:

• Specifies that if a public entity grants an event permit for an event that is deemed by the public entity to include public themes then it shall provide parental guidance notification to members of the public (Sec. 1). 

• Specifies that the notification must be designed with sufficient notice to parents and parental guardians and be posted near all main entrances in clear view (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that in the case of a parade that a notice will be put out on a public utilities website (Sec. 1). 

• Specifies that in the case of a large outdoor event that notices be put in 4 conspicuous places close to the event and be listed on the public entities website (Sec. 1). 

• Authorizes public entities to receive information regarding the event to ensure that the event does or does not have adult themes (Sec. 1).

• Establishes that this does not require the public entity to hold an adult event (Sec. 1). 

• Establishes that a public entity is making decisions in good faith (Sec. 1). 

• Exempts the public entity from civil liability regarding compliance with this section (Sec. 1).
